About the Role
Go2 teaching are supporting an independant school in Wandsworth who are seeking to appoint an ICT Teacher to work with them on a permanent basis commencing September 2024.
About the school
The academy is a small (50 student) SEN-dedicated independent school with an excellent reputation and record compiled over many years. Catering for children of ages between 9-19.
The academy has particular expertise in ASD,AD/HD, Dyslexia and related challenges and do not accept children who are classified as behavioural problems. Class sizes are very small, usually 4-7 children. We place by academic preparation and ability rather than by age.
As an ICT teacher you will have
- PGCE, QTS, or equivalent teaching qualification
- Ability to teach ICT up to GCSE level
- Relevant knowledge and experience of pupils with ASD, SEMH and HD profile
- Understanding of the Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures
